A major fire has occurred in the famous Tirumala shrine. A fire broke out in a forest area not far from Parvati Mandapam on the road from Tirumala to Papa Vishanana. Because of this, the fire spread to a large extent. TTD forestry and wildlife officers were immediately alerted and tried to control the fire. The police also rushed to the spot with fire engines and started controlling the fire.
No injuries occurred
No casualties were reported in the fire that broke out near Tirumala Parvethi Mandap in Tirupati district on Friday, officials said. Firefighters arrived at the scene soon after receiving the news and started extinguishing the fire.
A warning about protecting wildlife
Officials said that the fire, which first appeared in the area, spread quickly. After the fire spread, the authorities have also warned about protecting local wildlife.
