A fire broke out in a forest in Chamar Begada village of Jobat in Alirajpur district at 8.30 pm on Thursday night. Because of this, an atmosphere of chaos was created in the area. After getting information about the incident, Jobat SDM Virendra Singh and SDOP Neeraj Namdev reached the spot along with the forest department team.

Efforts are being made to control the fire with the help of two fire brigades from Nagar Panchayat. However, the cause of the fire is not yet known. Along with the two chief officers, fire vehicles from other departments have also reached the spot.
After receiving information about the fire, nearby villagers also reached the spot in large numbers. Villagers say that hundreds of trees were burnt in the fire. Many wild animals have also fallen prey to the fire.
When the matter was discussed with SDOP Neeraj Namdev, he said that the fire will be brought under control soon.
