Patna: A major fire disaster has occurred in Patna, the capital of Bihar. A fire broke out in a hotel near the Junction railway station in Patna. It has been learned that 6 people were burnt alive and more than 12 people were seriously injured. Four people who were seriously injured died in hospital. Senior Superintendent of Police Rajeev Mishra said that the fire brigade rushed to the spot and rescued more than 20 people from the crowded area.

DIG Mrityunjay Kumar Chaudhary, who rushed to the spot, told reporters, “We have brought the fire under control. Information about the fire came around 11am. He said the cause of the fire will be ascertained through a proper investigation.
