- A fire broke out in Palobeda village in Tundi East, house owner Madan Bhandari was badly burnt, a pick-up van was also completely burnt.
A sudden fire broke out in the house of Madan Bhandari of East Tundi Palobeda village around 10:30 am on Thursday. All the stuff kept in the house was burnt to ashes in the flames. Because the fire was not controlled in time, the flames slowly spread through the house and also caught fire inside the brick house. While trying to put out the fire, Rajkumar Bhandari was badly burnt. Which was immediately sent to SNMMCH Dhanbad with the help of villagers.
The villagers extinguished the fire with well and pool water from motorized pumps.
