Sixteen firefighters battled a suspicious fire at a business in Bradford on Friday morning.
Emergency crews responded to reports of flames and smoke at a building on Holland Street shortly before 4:00am
The smoke permeated the entire plaza, causing significant damage to the business unit.
The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is inspecting the area for safety and food inspection purposes.
According to the police, the fire was promptly extinguished, and there were no signs of damage to the structure of the building.
This investigation is being conducted by the South Simcoe Police, assisted by the Ontario Fire Marshal and Chief Brent Thomas.
All businesses in the unit are closed until further notice.
