The Fatehabad district administration is busy in the final preparations for polling for the Lok Sabha elections in Haryana on May 25. Today, a polling exercise was held for the polling parties in the strong room constructed at Bhodiya Kheda and bags of polling publicity material were given to them.

After complete exercise and distribution of material, the work of removing EVMs from the secure room began. All the material and EVMs will be delivered to the polling booths by late evening. Voting will be held in 688 booths in all the three assembly constituencies in Fatehabad district. The duty of five members of staff in each booth has been determined by randomisation. 103 voting parties have been retained.
EVMs were sent under police protection.
Booth-wise speculation was done for 237 polling parties in Fatehbad assembly constituency, 224 polling parties in Ratia constituency and 227 polling parties in Tohana constituency. 36 voting parties have been retained in Fatehbad assembly constituency, 33 in Ratia and 34 in Tohana constituency. The duty of 8 micro-observers has been fixed in Fatehbad assembly constituency, 25 in Ratia and 25 in Tohana.
