The woman who jumped into the canal was rescued.
On Tuesday, a 40-year-old woman jumped into a canal with the intention of committing suicide near the Chandavali bridge in Faridabad, Haryana. The woman was floating in the water when a 17-year-old youth, Anuj, noticed her. He jumped into the canal to save the woman. After this, the woman somehow escaped, but the teenage boy was washed away in the canal. It ended up in the canal itself.
