Rohtak There are 18 lakh 63 thousand 963 voters in Rohtak Lok Sabha constituency. These voters include 9 lakh 86 thousand 777 male voters and 8 lakh 77 thousand 196 female voters. Meham, Garhi-Sampla-Kiloi, Rohtak and Kalanaur assembly constituencies of the district, Bahadurgarh, Badli, Jhajjar and Beri assembly constituencies in Jhajjar district and Kosli assembly constituency in Rewari district. There are 547 villages in these 9 assembly constituencies. 1884 polling stations have been established in the Lok Sabha constituency. There are 21 eunuch voters, 455 VIP voters, 23331 service voters and 15677 disabled voters in the Lok Sabha constituency. Returning Officer Ajay Kumar said that the Election Commission has printed the EPIC card and the photo voter slip in Braille script for the convenience of visually impaired voters. Braille ballot paper and EVM slip will also be available. Apart from this, many facilities are provided to the disabled voters. It has provision for wheelchairs, ramps and transport facilities at polling stations. The returning officer said that all the disabled voters will be provided vehicle facility to reach the polling station and drop them back home. Voters who cannot walk will also be provided with wheelchairs. Disabled voters and blind disabled voters who are unable to cast their vote by pressing the machine button can take a companion with them to cast their vote. An Associate must be 18 years of age or older. The assistants accompanying the disabled voter who can cast their vote by pressing the EVM button themselves can take the disabled voter to the polling booth. Training will also be given on 7th and 8th May. Training will be given to Presiding Officers and Assistant Presiding Officers in different shifts from 9 am to 5 pm. Similarly, on May 8, Divisional Officer (Civil) and Assistant Returning Officer Sampla will train the Assistant Presiding Officers in 4 shifts from 9 am to 5 pm.
