The Bemetara assembly seat comes under the Durg Lok Sabha constituency, where voting is scheduled to take place in the third phase on May 7. Vijay Bagal is the BJP candidate and Rajendra Sahu is the Congress candidate from Durg Lok Sabha seat. For 100 percent voting, a voter awareness campaign was conducted in Naugara assembly of Bemetara district and Gram Panchayat Modhe, Sarangpur, Charagwan of Bemetara panchayat district.

Senior and new voters of the village participated in the awareness campaign.
