GUWAHATI: Sanjeev Sanyal, a member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister of India and a noted economist, will deliver the 9th Professor Sarat Mahanta Memorial Lecture at Royal World University Hall in Guwahati at 4 pm on May 1.
Sanyal, who was internationally recognized for his contribution to economics and history, will speak on the subject "Bharat and Warsaw: the origins of our cultural identity." His insights promise to offer a deeper understanding of the country’s cultural heritage and its impact on contemporary society.
The Governor of Assam, Gulab Chand Kataria, will inaugurate the event.
Organized by the Prof. Sarath Mahanta Foundation in collaboration with Royal Global University, the lecture stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of Prof. Mahanta and his invaluable contribution to academia.
The lecture is open to the public.
