Brussels: The European Union has announced an easing of visa regulations for citizens of the three Gulf countries.

According to the report, the European Commission has officially approved steps to update the multiple entry visa rules for the three Gulf countries.
In addition, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Joseph Borrell, confirmed that the European Commission approved the granting of multiple visas to the citizens of the Gulf States.
The purpose of this update is to amend the visa rules for all GCC countries whose citizens require a visa to access the Schengen area.
Earlier in June 2022, the European Union extended the Schengen visa system to the participating countries.
The European Union Commission recommended to the European Council to approve the inclusion of the three Eastern European countries Croatia, Romania and Bulgaria in the Schengen system.
