The job of operating the buses from the city to Mantralaya and many places in Nawa Ripor was transferred to the same company against which there are many complaints. A complaint in this regard has now been submitted to the Chief Minister. CM asked NRDA CEO to investigate it.

.

For the commuting purpose of the ministry employees, NRDA has given the work of operating BRTS buses to a Bangalore based company, Shree Durgamba, from October 25, 2016 to 2024. Many complaints have also been received against the company during its operations. After the old agreement expired, a new tender was issued.

But the surprising thing is that after eight years, the responsibility of operating the buses has again been given to the same company NRDA also issued its letter on 17th May. A dispute has now begun regarding this tender.

The state’s former home minister, Nankiram Kanwar, complained about this to chief minister Vishnudev Sai. According to them, such rules were set in the tender that no transport company in the country could complete it. The NRDA officials jointly awarded the tender again to a Bangalore-based company, Shree Durgamba.

Resistance to the cost written per kilometer

The amount mentioned in the tender by the Bangalore company is also objected to. In fact, while filling the tender, the company quoted the cost in numbers as Rs 72.59 per km. But this amount is written in words as Rs 74.59. This was objected to by other companies who filled the tender.

According to him, the NRDA officials approved the tender without giving any information about what they thought was correct. Despite the code of conduct in force in the country, the director of NRDA transport issued the work order. Therefore, the travel operator demands to cancel the order and call a fresh tender.

We can say something only after receiving full information on this matter. We will also review the complaint that was submitted. The tender was old, the order was just placed.
