After a jaundice victim was found in Besantpur, water samples were sent for testing. Surveys are conducted continuously in homes. About 6 patients are hospitalized for treatment of jaundice and diarrhea in the women’s, men’s and children’s departments of the Medical College Hospital. Patients from Shantinagar and Shankarpur areas were treated and discharged at the district hospital.

Basantpur Rajeev Nagar Ward 42 councilor Rishi Shastri, who collects information by going to homes with the help of Mitnins in the ward, said that 3 children of the ward have been hospitalized and 2 children are undergoing treatment at home.
