The annual festival of Shri Shyam Jyot Mandal Khatu Naresh Shyam Baba was celebrated at Shri Baikunth Dham Seven Temple Jugsalai on Friday. During this period Baba was decorated with flowers. Akhand Jyoti was lit from 8.30 pm. Bhajans started at 9 pm with Saraswati Vandana. After this, singer Paras Bardiya and singer Shilpi Verma, who came from Kolkata, performed Kirtan ‘Raat Baba Aaj Thanku Aano Hai’. Hare Ka Sahara… Aaja Aaja Thane Thaaro Das Pukaare…, Khatu Shyam Hamara more beautiful than Taj Mahal, Mera Shyam Salona Hai…, etc received huge applause by presenting the bhajans. People were still dancing to the tune of bhajans till late at night.
