Before the start of the rainy season in Surajpur district, a joint team of SDRF and DRF was given a demonstration training to deal with the disaster. The joint team discussed how to prevent the disaster due to the rain in Canafra and how to save people’s lives.

In fact, during the rainy season, many villages in the district become islands. Many villages lose contact with headquarters, many rivers and streams are flooded, which leads to many accidents. Due to the high water level, it takes several days to search for the body.
In light of this, the joint team demonstrated various types of demonstrations. Training was given to rescue those trapped in a disaster, to pull out a person trapped in deep water and to pull out a dead person who drowned in water.
The ease of availability of modern materials
SDRF officer Rajesh Pandey said our team gets such training from time to time. We need to do demos of this side before the rainy season. Our joint team is ready to face any disaster. Our team received modern material from the administration.
Modern equipment also has a camera so we can now tell where the body is underwater. Where we find it difficult to walk and it seems that the body might be there, now it will be easier to find it. Many times it took us several days to find the body in the tourist spots in the rain, but it would have been easier if modern material was available.
