GUWAHATI: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was today arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in an alleged money laundering policy scam.
The arrest was confirmed by Aam Aadmi Party National Spokesperson and Delhi Chief Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj today, as published in X, "CM is arrested."

Earlier today, the Delhi High Court refused to grant him interim protection from coercive actions.
Following the order of the High Court, AD officials arrived at his place of residence and conducted a raid in the evening after which he was arrested by the law enforcement authority.

AAP filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the arrest, asking for an urgent hearing at midnight.
Earlier, ED had filed two criminal complaints against Kejriwal in Delhi’s Rose Avenue Courts alleging non-compliance of summons as the Delhi CM had skipped nine summons issued by the Central Investigation Agency.
