She was hit by a Vauxhall Corsa on Paisley Road West, near its junction with Blahouston Road at around 12.25pm.

The woman was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where staff describe her condition as serious but stable.

Glasgow Times:

Sergeant Christopher Hogans said: “This is a busy area and I would urge any witnesses to the crash who have not yet spoken to the police to contact us as soon as possible.

“I am also asking any driver with a dash cam to check their footage and get in touch if it contains anything that may be relevant to our investigation.

“Anyone with information should contact 101 quoting reference number 1386 of April 25.”
