CrimeCon returns to Glasgow with leading true crime experts Achi-News

CrimeCon takes place on April 27 at the Hilton Hotel, and true crime enthusiasts, survivors, criminologists, authors, podcasters and law enforcement will share their stories.

Attendees will have the experience of stepping into the shoes of sleuths and participating in crime scene analysis thanks to a new partnership between CrimeCon UK and Think Forensic.

The interactive CSI experience follows the huge hit from the Las Vegas and London CrimeCon events.

The one-day program, which is expected to include content from documentary makers and investigative journalists, is organized in partnership with True Crime, a factual entertainment channel and true crime destination.

Nancy Bohn, Events Manager for CrimeCon UK, said: “CrimeCon Glasgow is a key event in the CrimeCon UK calendar now.

“We are bringing the UK’s most comprehensive and engaging true crime event back to Glasgow for our incredibly engaged and empathetic supporters.”

The convention also offers people a chance to participate in Cold Tapes, a hybrid podcast and murder mystery game.

Participants are challenged to solve a case for a chance to win £10,000 and be named Super Sleuth of the Year.

Guest speakers at this year’s CrimeCon Glasgow include Dr Richard Sheppard (above), leading forensic pathologist, Kerry Daines, best-selling author and forensic psychologist, and Penny Farmer (below), freelance journalist and PR consultant who will be speaking on her 40.
