GUWAHATI: The Special Task Force (STF), Assam today conducted a raid at ISBT, Gorchuk, which led to the seizure of fake gold along with the arrest of the person involved.

The raid was conducted by the STF, Assam, under the jurisdiction of Gurchuk Police Station this afternoon.
This led to the seizure of one fake gold piece in the shape of a boat, weighing 1.489 kg, along with two mobile phones.
In addition, NIS 700 in cash was also seized.

The apprehended person has been identified as Mr. Jakir Hussain Ali, 31, who hails from Khimpur, Assam.
The necessary formalities are now underway regarding the seizure and recovery. Waiting for more details.
