The court of Shri Ram Jha, First Special Judge of Excise Act of Darbhanga, on Saturday convicted Sharwan Nayak, a resident of Ward No. 14 of the Bahra police station, under Section 30 (a) of the Excise Act on the charge of dealing in liquor. The court declared Sharwan Nayak, son of Shivji Nayak, resident of Ward 14, Bahra, the accused in case No. 246/22 of Madda-Nidha Sadar Police Station.

Special PP Harram Sahu said that the court convicted the accused.
