The daughter of a Congress councilor was stabbed to death inside the college premises in Haveli, Karnataka on Thursday. In this case, police say the daughter of Congress councilor Niranjan Hiramath was stabbed to death by a youth known to him. The student’s name was specified as Neha Hiram. The police arrested 23-year-old Faiyaz in this case.
Neha did MCA from BVB College.
It is said that Neha did MCA from BVB College. Neha and Fayyaz were batch mates during BCA course in the same college. An investigation revealed that Faiyaz, a resident of Swadati, Belagavi, followed the student and harassed her for several days. This murder incident was recorded on a CCTV camera. According to the police, Faiz entered the college campus with a knife and stabbed Neha five-six times. The student was taken to the hospital but the doctors there declared her dead.
Fayaz was also injured during the attack and was taken to the hospital. A senior police officer said that during the investigation Fayyaz claimed that they were having an affair but Neha suddenly started to stay away from him for a few days. However, the police say that whether Fayez is speaking correctly or not will be confirmed and verified. A murder case is currently being registered and he has been arrested.

In this regard, Vijandra Yediyurappa, son of former CM BS Yediyurappa, says that this is a horrific incident. He said that since the Congress came to power, talk of ensuring security to women had become meaningless. Crimes such as attacks and murders on women are increasing. It is a matter of concern Vijandra said the Congress government has completely failed in the safety of our sisters and daughters.
