Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, senior Congress leaders seem to be fully involved in the campaign. Especially Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are trying hard to make the candidates of India Etihad successful by visiting different regions of different countries every day. The Congress seems determined to oust the Modi government from the Centre, and while Rahul Gandhi addressed public gatherings at Sarwarnagar Stadium, Madak and Malkagiri in Telangana, Priyanka Gandhi addressed people in Rai in Raleigh and Amati in Uttar Pradesh, she was seen meeting and attending corner meetings as well as various functions.

Rahul Gandhi criticized the destructive and hateful politics of the Modi government at the Sarwar Nagar Stadium and said in clear words that the Congress does not like such politics at all, it is against unity, brotherhood and equality in the country in his speech he said, “Congress is moving forward with the aim of ensuring unity and equality for all, leaving behind the politics of division “.

Speaking to Jim Jaffer in Madak, Rahul Gandhi blamed the Modi government for rising unemployment in the country. He said that “Narendra Modi has made dozens of young people in the country unemployed, but the Congress party has brought up the ‘Pali Nokri Paki’ program.” According to this scheme, an apprenticeship of one lakh rupees is given to every educated youth. Then on June 4, as soon as the Indian government is formed, we will start filling 3 million government jobs.”

Rahul Gandhi described Telangana’s Congress government as people-friendly, “Our workers work for you here.” I am your soldier in Delhi. Whatever you need, I am ready to fulfill it in Delhi.” He adds, “Our constitution protects the poor, the tribals, the backward classes in the country. Before the constitution, the poor in India had no rights. The Constitution is the voice of your heart, which the Congress Party and millions of people in India have fought for. But the BJP people have made it clear – they will abolish the constitution.”

In Malkajiri region of Telangana too, Rahul Gandhi praised the Congress government of the state. “The Congress has done a great job in Telangana,” he said. 30,000 youths have received employment here, a gas cylinder receives 500 rupees, health insurance worth 10 lakh rupees is provided, women receive a free bus travel facility, each family receives free electricity up to 200 units at the same time, he says, “We are going to work in the entire country, just like in Telangana.”

Referring to the plans prepared in the event of the formation of a Bloc government at the Centre, Rahul Gandhi said, “Our Bloc government is going to earn MNREGA Rs 400 crore. Asha-Anganwadi workers are going to double their income. Narendra Modi worked for the electorate, our governments are working for the poor, the weak and the backward classes.

On the other hand, Priyanka Gandhi was seen campaigning vigorously in Uttar Pradesh’s Rae Bareli and Amethi. Addressing a public meeting in Rae Bareli, he praised the Congress candidate from this parliamentary constituency, Rahul Gandhi, saying, “Rahul Gandhi was never afraid to speak the truth.” Attempts were made to suppress, intimidate and threaten them. He was expelled from parliament for asking questions. Rude words were spoken to the family, false cases were filed in separate places. But today the whole country knows that no matter what happens, Rahul Gandhi only speaks the truth.”

Priyanka Gandhi also mentioned the Gandhi family’s connection to Lera Barley during her speech. He said, “The land of Rai Bareilly is a sacred land for my family. This is Indiraji’s field of action. Before independence, the farmers here protested against the British government. Hundreds of farmers were killed in the movement. Nehruji stopped the farmers here. Our forefathers and your forefathers always fought for freedom , justice and democracy.

Referring to the threat to the constitution if a BJP government is formed at the center this time, Priyanka said, “BJP people are saying – we will change the constitution.” We must understand that the constitution gives us the right to vote, question, food education along with reservation. If the BJP changes the constitution, these rights of the people will be weakened.” He also questioned the performance of the Modi government so far. Priyanka said: “I challenge Prime Minister Modi to stand on the stage and tell us what he has done for the country on 10 years”.

Responding to questions raised about the performance of the Congress government after India’s independence, Priyanka said, “Narendra Modi is asking what the Congress has done in 70 years. The answer is that the Congress has established universities in the country, built IIT, IIM, ISRO, DRDO, built big batteries like Bahakra Nangal, built roads across the country, but Modi ji only sowed the seeds of hatred.”

Priyanka Gandhi also mentioned Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodu Yatra during her speech. He said, “Rahul Gandhiji traveled thousands of kilometers to listen and understand your problems. When he returned from the trip, Rahul Gandhiji said two things… 1- We will ensure the promises in our election manifesto that we can fulfill, 2- There was a lot of injustice to the people of the state in the last ten years, so we must make plans that will bring relief to the people.

Priyanka Gandhi also addressed a public meeting in Vathai, where a large audience was seen. In this parliamentary constituency, she has come to seek votes in support of Congress candidate Kishori Lal Sharma. On this occasion, he narrated an incident from his childhood related to Amati. He said, “How is the relationship between a leader and the people, I received this lesson from my respected father.” My father was a good man. His heart was very pure, he was very brave. He worked hard for me. Set up big industries here, built roads and even scolded you lovingly for continuing her story, she says, “During the Sadhavauna Yatra, a respected father worked all night. I could not sleep at night until I heard their cries. I was afraid that no one would do anything.

“In 1991 there was a phone call,” she says, a little wistfully. It is said that something has happened to the venerable father. I realized something bad had happened. I had to tell my mother that for her love that she sacrificed so much for, he was no longer in this world. There was darkness in the mother’s eyes. I never felt my mother’s laugh the same after that day. I was very angry with this country, I sent my trust to the country, which came back with a blood-soaked tricolor in pieces. “Murder, she now also lost her husband. Mother did not eat properly, had to feed with great difficulty. They could not come out of this shock for many years.
