The Congress has so far announced candidates for 123 seats in the 147-member Odisha Assembly elections, the Congress has left 2 seats for the JMM and the CPIM.
Along with the Lok Sabha elections, Odisha is also among the states where assembly elections will be held. Odisha has 147 seats in the assembly for which an election campaign is underway. Meanwhile, the Congress has announced its candidates for 4 more Assembly seats in the state. According to the information provided by the party, Devendra Kumar Sahu from Mahanga, Manoj Rath from Satyavari, Prakash Chandra Jena from Bhubaneswar Central and Ashok Kumar Das from Bhubaneswar North.
The party has so far announced its candidates for 123 seats in the 147-member Odisha Assembly following the fresh list published by the Congress. Congress left two seats to JMM and CPIM. The ruling BJD has so far announced candidates for 126 seats, while the BJP has so far announced its candidates for 113 assembly seats. The Assembly and Lok Sabha elections will be held simultaneously in the country on May 13, so it is expected that all parties will soon announce their candidates for the remaining seats.
