Bhaskar News On behalf of Garhwa All World Gayatri Parivar, the nine-day Gayatri ritual organized on the occasion of Chaitra Navratri was completed on Navami Tithi. At the end of the ritual, Gayatri’s family members performed Havan Yagya. After this the virgin women were worshipped. Havan Yagya and Kanya Puja were organized at Kalyanpur Shaktipeeth at district headquarters and Nimiya Sthan Pragya Kendra. The program ended with distribution of Mahaprasad. On the occasion, the speakers highlighted the importance of the Gayatri ritual and said that the Gayatri ritual provides tremendous energy to men and women. The self-confidence of the seeker increases and all the defects within him are destroyed. The speakers said that Gayatri was called Kamdhenu. That means that all the wishes of the seeker are fulfilled. The body of the devotee is purified due to the moderation of the food taken during the rituals. Therefore, every man and woman should observe both the Navratri. Bhaskar News A grand procession was held at Bishunpura headquarters on the occasion of Ram Navami festival. Hundreds of members of Shri Ram Bishunpura Committee, Bajrang Akhara Mahuli, Bishunpura New Young Man Group, Shri Ram Sena Pokhara Chowk, Jai Bhawani Sang Kamta, Pipri participated in the procession. The procession started from Pokhara Chowk Hanuman Temple and reached Gandhi Chowk via Garh Muhal, Purani Bazaar, where Mahabiri Akhara and Committee flags from different villages were matched. After that, the procession started again from Gandhi Chowk via Chakchak Mor, Upper Bazaar, Lal Chowk, Thana Mor and ended after reaching Lal Chowk, Pokhara Chowk. During the Ram Navami procession, the area was resounding with chants of Jai Shri Ram, Jai Hanuman all the way. People who came to the parade performed stunts with traditional weapons and sticks in various places. In connection with the procession, arrangements were made for sherbet and laddus by the Bishnupur Business Association at Gandhi Chowk for Ram devotees. Besides that, committee members and administrative officers were honored by giving them body clothes.
