However, the farmers will have to invest money first, after which a 100 percent grant will be paid to the farmers. Farmers will get a grant of Rs 4,000 per acre for growing coarse grains. You will get 2400 rupees per acre. After that, additional assistance of Rs 1600 per acre will be provided. In the district farmers will cultivate jowar, bajra, kudu and sawa in farmer clusters. The Department of Agriculture gives wide publicity among farmers on the subject of growing coarse grains.
