State Chief Minister Champai Soren arrived at Chatra. Addressing the programme, Chief Minister Champai Soren said that Jharkhand is rich in mineral resources. It is called the golden bird. Attacking the Central Government, he said that this Lok Sabha election is a fight to save democracy and protect the Constitution. He further said that the dictatorial BJP government must be stopped. He said that the BJP is saying that good days will come. Talk about providing jobs to two crore youth. Not even one was given a job. Everyone was told to deposit Rs 15 lakh in their account but not even Rs 15 was given. He said that the central government had closed 5 thousand primary schools, so that the sons of the poor could not study. He said we will work to open all the schools that have closed. He further said that BJP government has increased the price of gas cylinder from Rs 400 to Rs 1100. He further said that Jharkhand Government has done the work of providing old age pension to every family. He appealed to everyone to press the button on handprint and let KN Tripathi win the elections. During the public meeting, Finance Minister Rameshwar Oraon, Rural Development Minister Alamgir Alam, Labor Minister Satyanand Bhokta and Congress State President Rajesh Thakur also addressed the public meeting targeting the Central Government, BJP and Prime Minister Modi fiercely
