A big honor for Safe Cities Punjab; Won the third global award in two months

Lahore: The World Union on Information Technology of the United Nations has chosen Dr. Yasir Niaz Khan, Chief Technical Officer, Punjab Safe Cities Authority, for the WSIS Award.

1049 applicants from all over the world sent their projects for the award. Among them, Dr. Yasir Niaz Khan’s project received the highest number of votes worldwide and was selected for the award.

Chief Technical Officer of Punjab Safe City was selected for reforms in the agriculture sector using artificial intelligence. He congratulated the World Summit on the Information Society and paid tribute to Dr. Yasir Niaz Khan for being selected for the Global Award through a special message.

Earlier, Safe City AD Ahsan Yunus won the World Police Summit and SSP Rafat Bukhari won the IAWP award. Punjab Safe City Chief Technical Officer will be awarded in Geneva in the last week of May.
