In Chhattisgarh too, a grant of Rs 14 lakh per acre has been given under the net home scheme in the last five years. When Bhaskar investigated this matter, he came to know that GST evasion is done in collusion between officers and vendors.
More than 3,000 net homes have been installed in the last 8 years. In this way, VAT worth more than 95 million rupees was stolen. After the matter was publicized, the two departments are blaming each other.

Here are the rules: If 28 lakh rupees are spent per acre, then the government should get 5 lakh 30 thousand rupees as GST at the rate of 18%.
This is how the fraud was done: the note was divided into several parts
Under the Nethouse scheme, one can spend Rs 28 lakh on one acre. For this, the farmer is given a subsidy of 50% i.e. 14 lakh rupees. The company from which the farmer gets the net house has to pay 18% VAT on the entire bill, i.e. Rs 28 lakh. To save on GST, the company has divided the bill into several parts.

What happened is: A copy of the bill obtained under the Right to Information Act revealed that only 2 lakh rupees 11 thousand per acre was given as VAT. That is, 3 lakh rupees 19 thousand less was paid for one net house installed per acre. According to the total of the three thousand nets, the amount is more than -95 million rupees 70 lakhs.
- 9 lakh rupees 24 thousand have been declared in the name of Shadnet house assembly set and GST 18% i.e. 1 lakh 66 thousand rupees have been given.
- In the name of net shadow 50%, 5% VAT amounting to Rs 16,170 was given at Rs 3 lakh 23 thousand.
- 12% VAT amounting to Rs 29,280 was given on Rs 2 lakh 44 thousand in the name of micro sprinkler.
- The remaining Rs 11.36 lakh was shown in 5 parts as working and other expenses. VAT is not paid thereby.
The copy of the bill revealed that only 2 lakh rupees 11 thousand per acre was given as VAT.
These companies did the work: Jai Gurudev Agro, Kisan Agrotech, Dilip Patel, Mantosh Kewat.

The department officials released the subsidy, why didn’t they pass the bill after seeing GST?
Officer- Talk to GST Department. He will take action only.

Agrotech farmer has done 80% of the work, a case has been registered against its owner Jignesh
Frauds have already been exposed in this program. In the latter case, a maximum of 80% work was done by Kissen Agrotech. Apart from Madhya Pradesh, an FIR has been registered against its owner Jignesh Patel in Mahasamund, Chhattisgarh.
According to the department, in one case, Jignesh billed his firm for subsidy, while the farmer had the work done by another company. Later, when the matter became clear, a case was registered at the police station. Jignesh is also said to be the mastermind in the GST evasion case. Most of the work was given to his office.
