Chhattisgarh government is going to take a new step regarding stray cattle. Cow shelters will now be established in the country for stray cattle and cows seen on the roads. The previous Congress government prepared the Gauthians. These temples can be developed on the same concept.

In this regard, the Prime Minister held a meeting of officers on Saturday and asked them to prepare related projects. The official information provided by the government stated that this was done to protect the cows roaming freely on the roads and to prevent accidents related to them.

Department officers said that the present government will come up with the cow sanctuary scheme in the country. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai directed the officials to prepare an action plan in this regard. However, this project will be prepared after the Lok Sabha election results.

Cow Reserve Scheme: In Madina, Animal Development Department, Panchayat, Revenue and Forest Department jointly take responsibility of Cow Reserve Scheme. After the implementation of this scheme, the hungry and thirsty cattle wandering on the roads will be given fodder and given medical facilities.

The state government said that there is a danger of road accidents due to stray cattle on the roads. Traffic jams also arise. Starving cattle get sick and die after eating garbage or plastic.

CM Sai asked to work in a corruption free system. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that the work will be done through a concrete action plan keeping in mind the motto of corruption free, service, security and promotion.

Instructions were given to officials to prepare the outline of a cow shelter for the stray cattle and cows abandoned by their owners. In this way, the cows wandering hungry and thirsty in the streets will receive food, treatment and permanent medical facilities. Accidents will also be reduced.

In the Congress government, Bhopesh Bagal started the Gotan scheme when he was the Chief Minister. In this too, stray cattle were kept in a similar manner. It was prepared by enclosing part of the land near villages or towns with a border. The BJP, which was in opposition at the time, called it a center of corruption. Brijmohan Aggarwal demanded a probe by ED.
