Bhagirathi Markam, a resident of Kulhadighat of Mainpur block, reached the district headquarters with his three children, mother and family members on Wednesday, 10 days after the death of his wife Gandhi Bai (29). An application was submitted to the Collector-SP demanding to register a case against the accused. At the same time, Congress district panchayat vice-president Sanjay Natham spoke of adjourning the CMHO office if no action was taken.

Made visits to 4 hospitals a month
Bhagirathi’s husband said that she was admitted to the Lakshmi Narayan Hospital in Chora in April with a complaint of abdominal pain. After an initial investigation, he was admitted to the hospital on April 8. Then, due to symptoms of cancer in the baby, Danny underwent surgery on April 12th.
She continued to moan in pain and died.
After this operation, Gandhi Bai’s health began to deteriorate steadily. Meanwhile, the hospital management continued to send its contacts to hospitals in Riphor, Harora from the Hammond. Bhagarathi said that first he was admitted and received treatment through Ayushman card, and then he received 6 lakhs paid in cash in the name of treatment. Even the bike and jewelry were pawned to pay for the treatment.

In this regard, CMHO Gargi Yadu says that a preliminary investigation has revealed negligence by the management of Lakshmi Narayan Hospital. After symptoms of cancer in the donor child, no expert opinion was taken before the operation. An investigation is underway regarding payment and additional points. After the arrival of the report, the necessary actions will be taken according to the instructions of higher officials.
