Nandini TI Rajesh Sahu said that the woman was lying there in an unconscious state after being hit by the tractor. Husband Numan Sahoo was seriously injured. Both were taken to Ahiwara Government Hospital. Where the woman was pronounced dead. Later the husband also died during the treatment.

The driver fled the scene after the accident
The police said that the accident happened at 6 in the morning. A farmer resident of Nandini, Numan Sahu (58 years) and his wife Pirsin Sahu (53 years) lost their lives in this accident. At the same time, the 7-year-old grandson was saved. After the accident, the driver fled the scene and left the tractor.
ASP Vedvrat Sirmaur said that the Nandini police had laid a trail and taken up the matter for investigation. The police have handed over the body to the family after the post-mortem and are looking for the accused driver.
