State Congress spokesperson Dhananjay Singh Thakur said that once the BJP government was formed, the process of attaching assets of chit fund companies was stopped. The Congress government confiscated the assets of chit fund companies and returned the money to the investors.

Actions were taken against so many companies during the Congress government
Dhananjay Singh Thakur said the Congress government has refunded an amount of Rs 37 crore 92 lakh 99 thousand 656 to 81204 affected investors from the state. 462 cases were registered against 208 chit fund companies. More than 700 directors and officials related to these were also arrested.
According to him, once the BJP government was formed, chit fund company robbers are again given protection, the linkage process was stopped to save their property.
Actions were taken against chit fund companies during the Bhupesh Badhel government.
