In Bilaspur, the police arrested four farmers on charges of cattle smuggling. Allegedly, these people took the cattle to the slaughterhouse on foot. At the same time, the relatives of the farmers told that they were taking the cattle to the market for sale, and were arrested by the police.

Ajay Kumar, in-charge of the police station, claims that on Monday night the police received information that some people were taking cattle to the slaughterhouse. As soon as the information was received, the police cordoned off the main road of Prasada and arrested Prasada resident Bablu Yadav, Bayima resident Dindyal Yadav, Sarwan Dhori and Saylor resident Lala Dhori.
During this time, these people brutally took 16 cattle to the slaughterhouse without the necessary fodder and water.
The cattle were handed over to the Sarpanch.
The responsible police station said that the officers released the cattle from their possession and handed them over to the village sarpanch. Actions were taken against the defendants according to the Law on Experiments on Agricultural Animals and they were arrested.
The family members said – farmers took them to the market
Here the family members of the arrested accused say that they are all farmers living in different villages, who went to the market with their cattle on foot. According to him, there is a cattle market in Ratanpur and Balghana, where farm calves and bulls are bought and sold, but the police implicated them in a false case of smuggling cattle and taking them to a slaughterhouse.
