The Chandigarh administration will now prepare a new proposal for the construction of the flyover at Tribune Chowk.
To streamline the traffic system at Tribune Chowk in Chandigarh, the proposal to build a flyover was approved by the Central Government in 2019. But this was stayed by the High Court. Now, after the stay from the High Court was lifted, the Chandigarh administration had written a letter to the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways demanding an extension of this offer. But the department has asked the central government to file a fresh proposal. Because this demand has been made due to changes in the price of a flyover and many other things in the last 5 years.
