The Municipal Corporation wrote a letter to the Election Commission to take over the defaulting taxi stands.

The Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh has written a letter to the Election Commission to take action against defaulting taxi rank owners. The corporation has sought permission from the Election Commission to take over these taxi stands. Rs 3.08 crore is outstanding on these taxi stands. They had to give it by 31st March. But they haven’t deposited yet.

About 57 taxis in the city stand
