Balapur Chadak Puja was celebrated with great pomp on Thursday at Parsabania Shiv Temple premises. During this period the Bhokta Ghura fair was organized. Shiva fasts and pierces iron nails in different parts of the body and walks at a height of 30 feet with the help of a wooden pole to express their faith in Lord Shiva. The Bhokta Ghura program continued till late evening. There was a crowd of people throughout the day at the fair organized in the premises of the Shiva temple.
