Directorate Private Institutions Sindh has issued registration certificates to 55 new schools between January and April while processing applications submitted by private schools for registration and renewal to the Directorate.
In the light of the recommendations of the inspection committee, the registration of 84 schools has been renewed and letters have been sent to 74 schools because documents and other matters were not available.
Along with this, applications to register 10 new schools have been rejected for not meeting the criteria and notices have been given to the owners of these schools to move their schools to buildings announced by the Department of Education.

Similarly, applications to register 2 upper secondary schools as secondary schools were refused and applications to register 3 secondary schools as elementary schools were registered as these schools did not meet the criteria for secondary and upper secondary schools.
The directorate while processing the complaints filed by parents, students, teachers and other sources during the last four months has resolved 288 out of 318 requests as per the rules, while the remaining requests are still being processed.
Similarly, 71 requests submitted by parents and students to correct their name, father’s name, date of birth were processed and their orders published.
