Chief Minister Siddaramaiah held an important meeting with the SIT, during which he asked them to take immediate action to arrest Prajuwal Ravana. In the meeting, the SIT personnel told the CM that appropriate steps would be taken to arrest Ravana. Officials said the CBI may issue a blue corner notice to speed up the investigation. The SIT said that once any information is received from the airport, Ravana will be arrested immediately.
Instructions to arrest Ravana as soon as possible
SIT has asked CBI to issue a blue corner notice against Prajjwal Revanna in this case. The investigation team expressed hope that after issuing the blue corner notice against MP Hassan, it will be possible to get information about his whereabouts. Prajuwal Ravana was reported to have gone abroad on April 27 after the first phase of polling in Karnataka. His lawyer asked for seven days to appear before the SIT, and the investigation team told him that this was not possible. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah directed the SIT to take In immediate action to arrest Prajwal.Also, strictest action has been taken against those involved in this case.
