The Calgary Fire Department says a man suffered burns to 25 percent of his body in a dumpster fire in Bridgeland/Riverside.
Shortly before 6 am, crews responded to 204 Ninth St. NE for reports of a fire in a building.
When they arrived, they discovered that the fire was inside a dumper.
As they worked to put it out, they found a man who had been burned in the fire.
The victim was taken to the hospital by EMS.
An investigation is being conducted into the cause of the fire.
