Discovered five old stone statues!
In a remote part of Unit-20, Aarey Colony, Mumbai, five old stone statues of Hindu deities and part of a stone Shivlinga were recently discovered by local resident Zubar Ansari (32). The dark gray and black stone idols are estimated to be between 100 and 350 years old. However, local activists have asked experts to do scientific carbon dating.
At this site, near the border of the Santacruz Electronic Export Processing Zone (SEEPZ), a few rocky outcrops covered with mud and tall grass were seen for the first time. After cleaning those stones, I realized that they were idols of God.
5 idols buried under the grass!
Among the 5 idols, idols of Shiva, Goddess Durga, Hanuman and two other gods were found. Again these idols are said to be 300 years old. Earlier there was a temple here. The people here say that these idols are buried under the soil.
