NEW DELHI: The Union Home Ministry has received a bomb threat email and all concerned security officials have been alerted. At 3.30 in the afternoon, the threatening email was received. The North Block, where the Home Ministry office is located, is a VVIP area and houses a number of government offices, including the Ministry of Finance.
Nothing suspicious was found
The Delhi Fire Service Department said the bomb threat email was received from the police control room in North Block. Search operations are underway and nothing suspicious has been found so far. A police officer said an officer on duty at North Block called the DFS immediately after receiving the threatening email.

There have been threats before
The threat comes days after bomb threats were reported from Indira Gandhi International Airport Terminal-3, Burari Hospital, Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, Bara Hindu Rao Hospital, Janakpuri Super Specialty Hospital, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospitals and Dada Dev in Dabri.
