Body of unknown girl recovered, Jalai OP case: Police said – wait 72 hours for identification, investigation continues Achi-News

The body of an unidentified girl was found from a maize field near Ballia Simar RC bridge in Jalai OP police station area in Saharsa. Regarding the incident, guard Manoj Kumar said that the women of the village had gone to the field to cut grass. Meanwhile, the police were informed after seeing a girl’s body in the field. As soon as the information was received, her body was recovered after arriving at the scene of the incident. At this point the body was taken into custody and sent for an autopsy at Sadr Hospital. Regarding the matter, Jalai OP president Gyan Nandan said the body will be kept for 72 hours for identification. Apart from that, an investigation is underway.
