BANGALORE: BMTC has built a canteen for workers on scrap buses. One lakh km. The buses that were running have been turned into canteens. This canteen bus is a BMTC Leyland warehouse which is used for the construction of a dining hall, non-canteen unit, serving snacks and meals at bus stops.

This canteen bus is built under the name Bhoja Bandi. The bus is built under the beautiful title ‘Let’s sit and have lunch’.

What is so special about the dinner cart?
– Seating and table arrangement, supporter arrangement
– Washbasin for washing hands, drinking water system
-Ventilation/lighting system through a glass window in the roof
