ED has released a major revelation regarding Delhi’s liquor policy scam. ED said Rs 45 crore recovered from this scam was used by the Aam Aadmi Party for its campaign in the 2022 Goa elections. It was also claimed in the documents submitted to the court that this was also confirmed by the CBS and the Income Tax in their separate investigations.

In these documents, AD told the court that as part of the investigation into the case, the Enforcement Directorate is also investigating the network of Hula operators and ‘Angdias’. ED has also recorded the statements of five Angadia company operators following a Rs 45 crore money trail. Regarding Rs 45 crore, the ED alleged that this money was part of the total bribe amount of Rs 100 crore given to the Aam Aadmi Party by politicians and liquor businessmen. ED says the Aam Aadmi Party spent Rs 45 crore of this money for the Goa election campaign.

It is worth noting that ED made this allegation when Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was recently arrested in this case. It was also said that legal proceedings can be taken against him and his party for money laundering. ED has already arrested 16 people before Delhi CM in the liquor scam.
