Amidst the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP attacked the Indian Alliance Party leaders. Regarding the recent statements of opposition leaders, BJP said it was against the interest of the country. The BJP accused the opposition of supporting Pakistan and asked the public to beware of traitors.

Citing the allegations of Maharashtra Congress leader Vijay Vadiwar and former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Chani, BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi on Monday said it was just a conspiracy to defame the BJP. These claims are baseless. Trivedi also cited other allegations by opposition leaders, including Pakistan leader Fawad Chaudhry supporting the Congress and Farooq Abdullah talking about Pakistan having nuclear weapons. Trivedi said Abdullah’s statement was quite shocking. Citing Congress leader Shashi Tharoor’s column published in a Bangladeshi newspaper, Trivedi said that in India elections are being held and Congress leaders are creating public opinion on foreign soil.
