Now only a few hours are left for the Lok Sabha elections to begin. In such a situation, political parties leave no stone unturned on the basis of an election campaign more than one election promise for their victory. The round of claims and counterclaims continues. Now the BJP strongly attacked the Congress on Thursday. He alleged that the Congress was wooing Naxalites for votes as it sensed its defeat in the Lok Sabha elections.
Questions raised about action against extremists
BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala alleged that Congress spokesperson Supriya Sherinath on Wednesday called the Naxalites killed in an encounter with security forces in Chhattisgarh as “martyrs” and raised questions about the action against the extremists.
It is noteworthy that on Tuesday, 29 Naxalites were killed by security forces in Chhattisgarh’s Kankar district. This is the biggest gathering so far in the country which has been facing the Naxal menace for the past three decades.
