The news came to light regarding foreign exchange transactions of around 1800 crores of companies like Galaxy Shipping, Logistics Pte Ltd, Horizon Shipping etc. According to sources, the search was conducted in that regard

The Singaporean company is alleged to be involved in fraud by showing false accounts of shipments. A total of 7 companies are alleged to be involved in the fraud. ED has a close eye on all these organisations. Many documents along with many digital devices and cash of Tk 2.54 crore were recovered during the search. 47 bank accounts were also discovered. Vijay Kumar Shukla and Sanjay Goswami are the Directors of Capricornian Shipping and Logistics Pvt. A number of other companies have also emerged as partners to Capricornian Shipping & Logistics. The directors of those companies are also currently on the ED’s radar.
