Look at the neighboring Guda district of Jharkhand. There was a development there in the field of railways. The people there got the facilities of long distance trains. It was possible because the members of parliament there are active. But, no development took place in the bank. Here MP Girdari Yadav has not done any work for the public good. This is what contractor Manish Kumar Singh has to say.

Shivangi Bharti will vote for the first time in Bhagalpur. She says we will vote only on caste. Nothing happens in the name of development, only comfort is given. Only caste is visible in the village.

These two things clarify a lot about the issue in the Lok Sabha elections. Some people want to vote on development, while some want to vote on caste basis. The Dainik Bhaskar team sought the opinion of the people on the train traveling in Banka and spoke to the students in Bhagalpur. Read what everyone is saying about the election…

The report by Bhaskar reporter, Amit Jaiswal, from Banka

In the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections, voting will be held in the Banka parliamentary constituency on April 26. Here, JDU candidate and sitting MP Girdhari Yadav of NDA is contesting with RJD candidate Jaiprakash Narayan Yadav of Grand Alliance. What do Banka people think before they vote? How much development has taken place in the bank? For the people here, is the issue inflation, unemployment, education, lack of public facilities or is Ram Temple, religion and status more important than all these?

The Bhaskar team reached the Banka railway station at 8:30 am to know the thoughts of the public. Here, train number 13241 Banka Intercity stood at platform number 1 to reach Patna’s Rajendra Nagar terminus. The train left at its scheduled time of 8:45. The Bhaskar team boarded the AC M-1 coach of the railway. She boarded the four-car train and traveled a distance of 16 kilometers to Barhat station in Banka. The train arrived two minutes before the scheduled time of 9:19. Team Bhaskar talked to many people during this journey.

We found Manish Kumar Singh, a contractor by trade, in coach M-1. Who would go to Patna. Manish said Banka is not fully developed. Nothing we wanted happened. The obstacles to development here are the very people whose candidates we elect and send to the Lok Sabha. How should a bank develop? It’s their job to see. But it eludes us. The neighboring district is in Gouda, Jharkhand. We see his development. There was a development in the field of railways. Many long distance trains run from there. But, there was no development in the field of railways within Banka. There is a serious lack of means of transportation here. Here only one intercity express runs to Patna. At least 5-6 long distance trains including Howrah, Delhi, Tata should have run from here. To catch long distance trains we have to go to Bhagalpur or Jasidih in Jharkhand.

He says Banka Lok Sabha should have got the right candidate. which is not found. However, this election will see a contest between RJD’s Jeeprakash Narayan Yadav and JDU’s Girdhari Yadav. In the current environment, RJD candidates look strong.

Moving on, we met Gauri Shankar, who worked for the Bihar government, in a B-6 coach. They say the biggest problem in Banka is the train. The facilities that people need to get are very few available. To catch a long-distance train, Banka residents have to travel to Bhagalpur or Jasidiya. The distance of Jasidih from here is 70 kilometers. For this, the separate rate for one person is Rs.150. Whereas the distance to Bhagalpur is 50 kilometers and a fare of 70 rupees has to be paid for it. There are many troubles in travel. Banka should get a member of parliament free from corruption. Who develops Banka? Make good arrangements for education, health and roads. Focusing on eliminating the problems of farmers and unemployment.

Following this, the group met Niranjan Kumar Singh in coach B-4. Those who do business. They say that the situation of the businessmen in the bank is not very good. Nothing has happened in the name of development in the last 5 years. Niranjan says the issue of Ram temple is heavy, but development is also needed in Banka. Bankers want change. Because there is neither education nor any system here. What should the Bank MP be like? On this question, Niranjan said that MP from Banka should be like late Digvijay Singh. There is no other candidate like him.

In car B-4 we found the student Saurabh going to Bhagalpur. The exciting thing for him was that he was choosing for the first time. That is, they will vote in Lok Sabha elections for the first time. He is pursuing his college graduation in Bhagalpur. Sorev says that the education system in Banka is not good. There is a shortage of good colleges. For this reason, a distance of 50 kilometers must be traveled to study. And it is very difficult. To this student, the RJD candidate Jaiprakash Narayan has the upper hand. When he was asked why? Responding to this, Sourav said that many audio clips and videos of current MP Girdari Yadav have gone viral. which reveals their behavior. In any case, none of his work was exhibited. What is the bigger problem between Ram temple and unemployment? On this question, the student said that unemployment is a big problem. Youth should get a job. By the way, our support is also for Lord Ram. But, considering the situation of Bihar, the emphasis should be on education, employment and development.

The report by Bhaskar correspondent Pranai Priyamvad of Bhagalpur.

Educated youth presented this demand, some of them wanted to vote for their caste with confidence.

Bhaskar spoke to the educated youth of the Bhagalpur Lok Sabha constituency. The students studying MA in Hindi said many things in the conversation. Some of them seemed careless in the question of votes and issues. There is confusion among the youth about voting. They couldn’t make up their own minds.

It could also be because of their lack of interest in politics for various reasons. Some youths were also seen who clearly said that they will vote only for the candidate of their caste, the reason for this is also clear in their mind. Their concern includes that there is a severe shortage of teachers at the university and this is causing them problems in their studies.

Shashi Kumar says there is a lot of pollution in Bagalpur, it should improve. The state of education in Bihar is not like that of Delhi, the roads are always bad. That is why we would prefer to vote on the issue of development.

Preeti says the government should develop the country. The government should focus especially on education. There is a huge shortage of university teachers and the government is failing to improve it. There is also a water problem in our settlement Aliganj. There is a problem on the road. Girls are moving forward but they still have to fight a lot.

Komal says the development has happened. But the government should focus more on education. The train facilities are good. There is a huge shortage of university teachers.
