Chandigarh: The BJP has faced a major shock in Haryana during the Lok Sabha Election 2024. The BJP government in Haryana has suffered a setback. Three non-party MLAs have withdrawn their support to the BJP government led by CM Nayab Singh Saini. They announced on Tuesday that they had withdrawn their support. Sombir Sangwan, Randhir Gollen and Dharampal Gondar have withdrawn their support. Now three members of parliament (Independent ATMs) have claimed that they will support the Congress.
On Tuesday, three non-party members of Parliament participated in a press conference led by former Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda and state Congress leaders. Currently, we have withdrawn the support given to the BJP government. MLA Dharampal Gondar has announced that we support the Congress.
“We have made this decision on various issues, including issues related to farmers,” he said. Speaking at the press conference, Uday Bhan said that the three members of parliament had not won the election under any party symbol. So they are independent and they give their support to the Congress.
The Union Minister said that I do not have specific information
Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, who has commented on the withdrawal of support from non-party members, has seen media reports about this, but I have no concrete information about it. Our government is safe in Haryana and there is no danger. He said he will speak after getting complete information whether this news is true or false.
Call for assembly elections
The majority of Nayab Singh Saini’s government has collapsed. So Saini does not deserve to stay in that position even for a minute. Nayaz Singh Saini should resign immediately. Congress leader Uday Banu has demanded that the assembly elections be held immediately.
What is the response of Congress to the support of non-partisans?
Reacting to this, Congress MP Dipender Singh Hooda said that the BJP government has lost its majority in Haryana and change is certain in the state. Some of the MLAs have resigned because they are contesting the Lok Sabha elections in the list of 48 MPs. Some non-party Members of Parliament have joined the Congress by gathering support.

Such is the strength of the assembly
The Haryana Legislative Assembly has 90 members and currently has 88 MLAs. The BJP has 40 members. After the 2019 assembly elections, the BJP formed the Haryana government with the support of non-partisans. Now three MLAs have withdrawn their support to the BJP. The Congress had won in 31 constituencies in the election.
