BENGALURU: The world famous Karaga Utsav is happening in the capital with great fanfare. The festival started from April 15 and will end on April 23. A large number of people will gather on the last day of the festival, and against this backdrop, the Bengaluru City Police Commissioner has ordered a ban on the sale of liquor (Liquor Ban ) in four police stations in the metropolis.
Ban alcohol everywhere?
Alcohol prohibition order has been implemented as a precautionary measure to maintain public peace and order and to prevent untoward activities. Commissioner Dayanand has ordered closure of sale of liquor, bars and restaurants, pubs and wine shops at Halasuru Gate, SR Nagar, Wilson Garden, SJ Park police station area on Karaga Utsav day.

When is the ban?
Prohibited from 6 am on April 23 to 10 am on April 24. Therefore the bars and restaurants, liquor shops, wine shops, pubs in the four thana area were ordered to be closed during the time this.
